Deutsch Musik Land is a large, informative website featuring hundreds of biographies about German bands from all genres. They also have interviews with musicians and other great feautres. A definite destination if you are searching for rare German bands to discover.

German Sounds

German Sounds is the official German Music Export Office supported by the German government, with the motto "Music 'Made in Germany'". There is an extensive database of companies and people in the German music industry for bands and other people to access, as well as a significant amount of facts and figures about the German music market. German Sounds is also working with the PopXport program of Deutsche Welle TV which promoted new music from Germany.

IMH German Music Export Office

This is another organization which calls itself the German Music Export Office, however this one is supported by the Internationale Medienhilfe organization, and not the German government. The goal, like the government supported organization, is to promote German music and help the market to grow.

Radio Goethe

Radio Goethe is a music program which is aired on dozens of radio stations across North America and can be heard streaming online. Radio Goethe also has three compilation CDs for people to experience new German bands. Radio Goethe Magazine is a news program which is also aired on their home station, 90.3 KUSF in San Francisco.
